Bishops Luncheon

 
The 2012 annual Lutheran Advocacy Ministry - New Mexico Bishop's Legislative Luncheon was held on February 2 at La Fonda in Santa Fe.  Bishop Allan Bjornberg of the Rocky Mountain Synod, ELCA, again hosted this event at which legislators are recognized as Lutheran advocates join advocates from a number of denominations and other faiths to thank legislators for their public service.  Bishop Bjornberg, who is retiring this year, was honored for his many years of steadfast support of advocacy ministry.   A briefing on Lutheran Advocacy Ministry-NM issues took place in the morning prior to the luncheon.
